We facilitate transportation planning by air, land and water.
We operate the Lake County Executive Airport, which serves as a focal point for convenient travel and recreation for both businesses and the community. We accelerate lakefront commerce by supporting Fairport Harbor, our deep-water maritime port, which facilitates more than 1.5 million in freight tonnage per year including domestic and foreign traffic. Our Land-side development planning includes trails, bikeways and pedestrian traffic flow.

Our Transportation Network

(Proudly serving over 750,000 riders each year, Laketran is Lake County, Ohio’s regional public transportation system offering nine Local Routes, door-to-door Dial-a-Ride, and three commuter Park-n-Ride routes with service between Lake County and Downtown Cleveland.)

(The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) is the transportation and environmental planning agency that represents state, county, city, village, and township officials in Greater Cleveland. NOACA addresses the transportation, air quality, and water quality needs of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties. The agency and its partners cooperatively develop and implement plans to ensure that travel throughout the region is safe, cost-effective and environmentally sound.)
