Who we are
Lake County's Port Authority
Lake Development Authority (LDA) is Lake County’s Port Authority and the economic development arm of the Lake County Board of Commissioners. LDA was created in February 2007 pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4582.
Our mission is to raise the tide of economic development and community prosperity in Lake County, Ohio. We strategically focus on four key areas: Economic Development, Coastal Development, Workforce Development, and Aviation.
