LDA partners with OhioMeansJobs Lake County to connect job seekers with employment and ensure local businesses have access to a skilled, growing workforce, a core part of our economic development mission.

Workforce is at the Heart of LDA's Mission

In 2025, we also established a unique and forward-thinking partnership with the Lake County Workforce Development Board (WDB). Through a management agreement, LDA now oversees the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds for Lake County.

This collaboration streamlines our economic development ecosystem, creating a true “one-stop shop” for businesses to access the resources they need to grow and expand. In its first year, the partnership is already delivering results with over 200 job placements with Lake County employers.
